Dust Temple life drawing

Made it to half of the Dust Temple life drawing...
Was a bit better than on Tuesday, but still not brilliant-
still though if I can manage to go twice a week I'll get back to where i ought to be.
Mind you its a bit of a wake up call. Just like exercise,
when you get old you need to be doing the work to maintain hand eye coordination..
.that much is clear.

the model was very good- she had really sculptural body -
don't know how else to describe it- but the forms were really clear.
So that helped

Bummer

Went to Drop In  life drawing at Byron Bay,
didn't do well at all- head totally in the wrong space.....
still worrying about the eyesight but had real hand eye coordination trouble...
I think because there wasn't much light its hard for me to get enough contrast to see clearly my pencil at the paper these days..

Still rusty at Dust Temple :(

Just wasn't with it...again ...
well again its been about a month but just just brain wasn't where it should have been.
And hand eye coordination...
and need glasses
+maybe just not used to the sustained concentration or something?

Had been doing a bit of the  3d animation lately,
I know it takes a week for my brain to switch modes properly to drawing ...

Swimmy swim

Alligator swim from Lachlan Creagh on Vimeo.

Alligator swim from Lachlan Creagh on Vimeo.

Maybe ought to tuck front legs to body more.....hmmmm

Also they have a body still /end of tail moving swim, and an almosst 'underwater  walk' swim....and the thrashy attack swim....which to do...

Alligator!

A walk cycle animation for an alligator.
Lovely  model, texture and biped skeleton by Rob Mangano- animation by me.

Looks like max messed with the animation when I merged it into the render scene
Its cranked the neck upwards...why?
Answer -some sort of scaling shenanigans when it merges.... sigh
Fortunately you can't see how it messed it up  from this angle so much

A lower rez and different angle- and this time I merged the render scene/lights camera to the alligator- and it works. Few little feet jiggles and maybe need to swing arms around wider...anyway

Rerender of that down view in glorious low rez.
