Dark Crystal 2 inspired

Forget those blue gym bunny guys- everyone knows gelflings were the real original fantasy hippies.
Except of course for all those star trek people in kaftans....
Actually thinking about it I'll bet dark crystal 2 has a snow element/environment .
Anyway here is a wandering drawing with some odd creatures.
I couldn't remember/didn't worry what gelflings looked like, I think they have bigger almond shaped eyes, but I do remember an odd proportion about their bodies-( although I'm sure Brian Froud drew them as beautiful Rackam like things).
Well I could have googled but I didn't and strangely I haven't bought the 'art of dark crystal' yet after all these years......
Its 'reminiscent of' not 'fan art' anyway.
(The four eyed arboreal walrus cat is the compulsory comic relief type animal).

Making pudding for proof with the trusty old pencil as a starting point.
There might be some Dark Crystal type images coming- I'd heard they were making a sequel- at illoura or something- so of course I start dreaming.
