Blue Mermaid and another dino wip

On the top dino I'm starting to try and do an iridescent sheen on it- its something thats really nice on even large live snakes I've seen so I thought it'd be nice instead of dull hide.

Haven't fixed the feet yet....etc
Needs a bit more countershading too- we'll see.

Better Red than Dead

More scribbly quick ideas- theres more I've done but I have to translate them from "Lach-inese" into something others can see more clearly. I also have pages of sketchbook scribbly ideas to translate. Just trying to unearth the images/ideas a bit to see if they're fools gold or not.I think all of these sort of qualify as fantasy art more than concepts- concepts should be about design- answering or solving a problem, whereas these are more flights of fancy.

Red Phase

I'm in a red phase. I'm sort of doing a bunch of glorified thumbnails looking for gold as you do, as such they're not too worked out- I might work them out a bit more mechanically -I'll glorify a few more yet so we'll see what turns up and what is worth blowing up and fixing/finishing. They're all a bit dark in mood- and there's likely to be some further boobage I suppose.
Probably after this lot I'll do some lost worldy type images- the inspiration theres is a recent visit to the cloud forest at springbrook
